Our goats eat much but not all of the vegetation (contrary to popular belief, they don’t eat everything). They leave the large cane and woody growth.
The Goat Herd Advantage is that the remaining target vegetation is cleared by hand and with power tools. That’s why, unlike most other service providers, our Team leaves your land free of large piles of intact vegetation. What this means is a much more finished product that’s ready for the next phase of your project. We do the hard work now, so you can do the easy work later.
Herd size is 60 or 120 goats depending on square footage and the area must have access for a 40 foot truck and trailer.
Goat Wrangler lives in a truck on-site and 24-hour access to a bathroom (or Port-A-Potty) must be provided.
60 goats can eat about 1/4 acre (10,000 sq feet) in about 3-5 days.
Prior to scheduling, we will come to the property for an estimate and survey for toxic weeds. Then once scheduled, an additional day is needed to clear the path and set up the fencing before bringing the goats. We are a member of the BBB with an A rating.

Rates:
Rates start at $725/day plus tax and a one-time $325 mobilization fee (minimum depending on location). Rates may be higher on more difficult jobs. Price includes all labor for set-up and brush-cutting. We will bid large jobs, and may offer discounts on some jobs.
